  Since originally posting this I have learned that the local council were responsible for removing the trees and the oven much to the owners distress.

  Fantastico! The chateaubriand was amazing and all of the side dishes as well. We had to wait 1,5 hours for a table and then again one hour for the food. But we got compensated with a free drink and bread with aioli and tomatoes so we were totally ok with the waiting. And it was really worth it, great meat and perfectly grilled. Highly recommended.

  Fantastic meal at zona Verde. Owner and staff could not have been more obliging to us as a family of 2 young children. Fabulous tasty food. Cosy seating. Great atmosphere.

  Excellent food, probably the best in Puerto Mogan. Such a shame that the ambience has been lost by cutting down the trees and taking away the outside wood fired oven. Used to feel like a secret garden somewhere, but now it is completely open on all sides and has lost the romantic atmosphere. That said, I shall be back because the food us so good.

  The place doesn't look very nice in the daylight, but as the night falls the atmosphere is actually quite nice. Meat was great and portions generous. Even the children's food had some taste to it.
